The power of positive thinking.
You must be thinking that 2,000 dead in Iraq is horrible. Come on, it's not like we've sent thousands of our troops there to die for absolutely no reason, right? You just need to think positively. For example, remember that for every soldier of ours that died, we've killed at least three or four insurgents and seven or eight Iraqi civilians. So c'mon, turn that frown upside-down! Think of the fact that we didn't get nuked (yet). Think of the low oil prices we'll have, any day now. Think about the next country or countries we'll inva, er... liberate. And if none of that works, just hang on for a few more weeks until the holiday season when you can drown all of your woes in an orgy of consumerism.
